We have noticed that we are asked this question by our customers more and more often. Why does such a question arise? Because natural soaps can be made by cold or hot production. Our soaps are produced by the cold soap production method. And from the 6 wonderfully nourishing oils (olive, coconut, sweet almond, castor oil, shea and cocoa butter), they gently wash away and nourish your skin at the same time.
And now let’s take a closer look at these production processes:
- Soaps are produced by the cold production process. During it, oils with alkali are mixed at a temperature of 30-50 °C. This process is called saponification, after this process the soap is matured for another 4 weeks. Since this process takes place without excessive heating, at low temperatures, the natural ingredients, and other active substances, remain unchanged. And this gives you the opportunity to create a soap that is rich in useful substances that provide nourishment and hydration to the skin. However, they are more expensive due to the long manufacturing process and the wider use of natural ingredients.
- Soaps that are produced by hot production process. Oils and alkali are constantly heated, this step accelerates the saponification process, but due to the higher production temperature, some active substances die and lose their beneficial properties. Such soap does not require a long maturation time, it can be used almost immediately, which makes it more accessible to the mass market. Often, these soaps are stronger and foam better, are cheaper, but less moisturizing and nourishing to the skin due to the active ingredients killed in the process.
